My name is Dirk Warner, and I am the Private Tutor behind TutorPlus2. Before I created TutorPlus2, I spent years as a manager of a tutoring center, training and advising other tutors. However, my passion has always been advising and instructing students themselves. While I enjoyed helping others become better tutors, I missed taking part in the instruction process itself. Understanding each student's personal strengths and thinking style, helping them find joy in the problem solving process, creating personal connections with students; these were always what I loved most about tutoring, and I realized that I was no longer experiencing these parts of the process myself.
That's why I started TutorPlus2. I wanted to devote myself fully to my favorite part of tutoring: directly helping students succeed now and building their self-confidence for the future. Through one-on-one, personalized instruction, TutorPlus2 pushes students to think independently and creatively to solve problems. In short, we show them that they could do it all along.
