With TUTORPLUS2, I do more than simply tutor, I help students learn how to think. My approach pushes students to solve problems independently and creatively, building real understanding, confidence, and long-term academic resilience. Through one-on-one, highly personalized instruction tailored to each student’s unique way of thinking, I empower learners not just to succeed today, but to thrive in their future academic and professional endeavors.
My passion for education began early. Originally from Florida, I started tutoring at just 16 years old and went on to manage a tutoring center after graduating from college. In 2020, I launched TUTORPLUS2 as a private tutoring business, offering both in-person and online instruction. In 2023, I moved to Michigan, where my children attend schools in Allegan and Otsego, deepening my commitment to supporting students and families in the local community.
I specialize in math at all levels, from elementary school through college, as well as test preparation and academic assessments that identify gaps in prior knowledge and address them strategically. My goal is not quick fixes, but lasting understanding. As TUTORPLUS2 continues to grow, I’m especially focused on expanding in-person tutoring opportunities to better serve students living in Allegan, Otsego, and the surrounding communities.
